Through museum visits, outdoor itineraries and manual workshops, girls and boys will discover some of the artistic crafts that have made the Opera del Duomo complex great. From the technique of gilding with gold leaf, to the observation of the mosaics of the baptistery through the words of Dante, to the revolutionary machines that made the construction of Brunelleschi's great dome possible up to the stories of the welcoming of children and girls at the Spedale degli Innocenti. All this passing through the Orti Dipinti, a small-big treasure in the heart of Florence
